Chairman
Dr. Amila Moremada, who became the youngest Regional Marketing Manager in the Shell Group of Companies, was selected as the Best Marketing Manager of Shell Group of Companies in South Asia. He then became the National Marketing Manager of Hayleys Group of Companies and was awarded as the Best Marketing Manager for three consecutive years. Bringing a plethora of memories and experience as the CEO of Max Television (Pvt) Ltd, the Chairman of Selacine Television Institution of Ministry of Mass Media, as well as a Senior Journalist, he often juggled the roles of Marketing Manager, a trained Marketing Manager, and a Journalist brilliantly. He was able to generate the highest sales the institution has experienced during his tenure in Selacine – Ministry of Mass Media, which has over 40 years of history. Not stopping at that, he also went on to become a renowned Senior Environmentalist who managed to expedite the planting of more than ten thousand flourishing trees through tree planting projects in major cities like Bauddhaloka Mawatha, Ward Place, and Kottawa after the term of the British government.
Managing Director
Thimira Moremada oversees the strategic direction and operations of the Swarnasinghe National Awards. With a strong background in management, he ensures the success and integrity of the awards. His leadership and vision drive the organization forward, maintaining its prestigious reputation and fostering growth.
CEO
Deshamanya Viraj Ariyasinghe serves as the Private Secretary to the Chairman of Selacine Television Institution – Ministry of Mass Media, Chief Marketing Director, Deputy Secretary of Environment Protection and Social Development Foundation, and Vice Chairman of the Selection Board of Swarnasinghe Award. His extensive experience in media and marketing is crucial to the awards’ execution and management.
Chairman, Business Judge Panel
Nuwan Gamage has over two decades of experience in marketing across various industries. He is the Head of Marketing, Corporate Communications, and Sustainability at Arinma Holdings (Pvt) Ltd. His expertise in digital marketing, brand strategy, and sustainability ensures high standards in the judging process of the Swarnasinghe National Awards.
Marketing Manager
Anusha Samaranayaka has extensive experience in the field of foreign employment agencies and currently serves as an Executive Officer for the Swarnasinghe National Honour Award Ceremony and Haritha Parapura. Her role in marketing and management ensures the awards reach a wide and engaged audience, enhancing their visibility and impact.
